Mrs. Winship graduated from Tennessee State University in 2007 with a Bachelor’s degree in history. Since then she has been active in many churches - holding leadership roles in Youth, Outreach Ministries, and Worship Ministry. She has held several different positions in the manual labor sector including Grill Cook at Cracker Barrel Old Country Stores and Customer Service at T-Mobile USA. Her experience in these and other positions, along with her homeschooling experience and heart for the Lord, have helped shape her life leading to her role as an Electives Teacher at Enlightium.

Mrs. Winship has three young boys - all enrolled at Enlightium Academy - whom she loves with all her heart. She has been married to her husband Sean for over 15 years. She and her family recently moved to North Carolina where they bought a 130-year-old farmhouse in a small town of 600 people. She likes to spend her evenings, when she can, either playing board games with her family or crocheting and listening to worship music on her front porch - marveling at the goodness of God.
