Ms. Lawellin received a Master’s in Education specializing in School Counseling from John Brown University in 2021. For her undergraduate education, Ms. Lawellin earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Psychology, minoring in Addiction Studies/Treatment and Cognitive Neuroscience. Before joining Enlightium Academy’s Alliance Program team, and after years of working in Young Life Ministries, she was on the Community Outreach team for a counseling center in Arkansas where she facilitated Social/Emotional Learning workshops for students, teachers, and parents. She also worked as a School-Based Behavioral Specialist for the counseling center. Ms. Lawellin is ACSI-certified.

Ms. Lawellin spends most of her time outside as a self-proclaimed ornithologist, with her cat Bandura (named after her favorite psychologist). She collects antiques and knows every single word of at least eight different Broadway musicals. She has coached volleyball and track for many years, but she enjoys her slower hobbies nowadays.
