Dr. Jan Blonk earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Bible and Religious Education from ICI University (now known as Global University). He also earned his Master of Divinity and Ph.D. in Biblical Studies from Conservative Theological University.

Dr. Blonk was born and raised in the Netherlands and permanently moved to the United States in 2001 to pursue his graduate degree. After getting his Green Card in 2006, he became a U.S. citizen in 2014, holding dual citizenship. In 2007, he married Rachel, and they have two children, Hannah and Isaiah. After six years of teaching at a Christian academy and a seminary, he embarked on a twelve-year career in sales and marketing. Besides his love for writing, he loves REAL football. His ultimate passion, though, is to find Jesus from Genesis through Revelation and fully rest in Him.
