Composition and European Literature

Enlightium Academy offers high school seniors the chance to study C.S. Lewis, a pivotal 20th-century Christian thinker and convert from atheism. This course explores his transition to Christianity, which informs his approach to writing and apologetics, making his work accessible to a wide audience. Students will read "Mere Christianity" and "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe," along with other significant works like "The Problem of Pain," "Miracles," "The Four Loves," and "The Screwtape Letters." The course aims to provide students with a robust philosophical foundation in the Christian faith as they prepare to graduate.
